Waste of steel works

Waste in steel plants are essential by-products generated during various processing steps involved in the production of iron and steel. Solid wastes generated by integrated iron and steel works cause environmental pollution and therefore HIsmelt technology have the solution. Not only steel plants waste such as slag , dust and skull however Direct reduction plant process may generate a by-product such as DRI fines , Iron ore fines / small size.

Other plants are generating waste like Red oxide and Mill scale. All above are used in HIsmelt technology as raw material .
